Bridges Alley Cat

This past weekend was an alleycat race I wish I could have gone to. Sometimes you choose between staying in the city and going to your land deep in West Virginia and firing your ATV up for the first time this year. It was a much needed get away and I can’t wait to go back, but luckily for us that Brian O’Doherty was there to capture some stills. Check out the facebook link for more photos HERE. Let me know if that doesn’t work.

Crankmania Zine Release Party

_DSC7592_DSC7597
Last night was a kick off party for a new local zine and issue #1 was released. I really don’t have any links to post with it because, well it’s a zine and you just have to know about it. If you don’t know about it, now you do so keep your eyes opened.

The party last night was fun and I’m sure some of Brian’s photos will pop up soon enough after hangovers start to wear down. The keg went fast and 30pks started rolling in and disappearing just as quickly. I took a couple shots not to document the night, just something to show everyone who wasn’t there.

Halloween Alleycat from Baltimore Velo

Seth and Liam announced a Halloween race, and I’m here to pass it on. Everyone has been asking about a race and honestly we considered it knowing last year would be hard to top, so I’m glad/relieved someone stepped up to the plate. Baltimore Velo has the details and an Events page (playing some midi of children of the grave) as well as a Faceboob RSVP page.

East Coast Messenger Stage Race: Bmore to DC

Not doing anything tomorrow(Monday)? Down to race to DC from Baltimore? Like Red Bull? Well if so, you’re in luck because tomorrow is the last leg of the East Coast Messenger Stage Race which started in Boston and Finishes Tomorrow in DC. So even if you’re not in to racing, come to the Hampden skate park at 10 to see off the racers and get some free Red Bull. Dont forget to be in DC if you can @ Durkl HQ for the finish line and after party.

BFF DC Fix Trix Jam Photos

DSC_9170
Here we are, I finally finished them and it’s only been what 4 days? It feels like it’s been a few weeks but today is the only day I’ve had time to go through almost 600 photos. I really don’t feel like saying much since I been sitting here editing photos for the past million hours, it’s beer o’ clock for me now. I just want to thank all the sweet sponsors we got that gave us shit to give out, you guys made everyone VERY happy, especially the KC boys. I also want to thank everyone for coming to help, and everyone who came and shredded. Mike took first and I think his exact words were “I’ve NEVER ridden as good as I did today.” Dan managed to ride out of a grind he worked on all day and I know he was stoked. All I’m getting as is that people went home with sweet prizes and something to be proud of so that makes every bit of it worth it, just look at Torey’s face when Sam is giving out prizes! Ok I’m going to get out of the house now, CHECK THE PHOTOS HERE!

Final Build Day

Done, packed, and ready to roll. After a 10 hour build day I’m beat, but we’ll be up early tomorrow setting up at 2nd and H street South East in DC, so swing by any time. Don’t forget to check out the Facebook gallery with the rest of today’s build photos.
